xL Architects Ltd. (XLA) is a forward-thinking architecture firm specializing in off-site construction technologies. Our expertise lies in volumetric modular designs, panelized building systems, and 3D concrete printing construction. We are dedicated to creating modular design solutions that foster meaningful connections between individuals and their environments. Currently, we are working on a diverse range of off-site ADU products and multi-residential projects across Ontario and beyond.

Eisa Jieun Lee, AAA, OAA, CPHD
Founder, Architect
Eisa studied at the University of Waterloo for her Bachelor of Architectural Studies Honors and Master of Architecture.
Over the years, she has worked at renowned design firms such as Gensler, Robert A.M Stern, Kasian, and Adamson Associates, working on various projects across the world.
Ever since starting out XLA, Eisa’s focus was becoming the bridge between modular manufacturers and clients, to make the whole modular process smoother for all parties involved.
As a Certified Passive House Designer, always interested in making buildings more sustainable not only for the users but for the environment and the future.

Jayden Lee
Co-Founder, Modular DfMA Specialist
Jayden is all about the custom details. After graduating with Bachelor of Architecture back in South Korea, he started his professional career right here in Toronto.
He has worked on various experimental projects at Philip Beesley Architect, his first custom detail designs at Design It Mill, and then modular buildings at Z Modular — Jayden was there at the very beginning where architecture started at Z Modular.
As the walking modular library at XLA, there is no detail that Jayden cannot solve, whether it’s steel or wood modular construction.
